Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Auburn, ME, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers flexibility in selecting your preferred location based on caseload preferences, ensuring a balanced and rewarding experience.

Key Qualifications :

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
  • Valid SLP School Certification
  • Experience working with K-12 students
  • Ability to manage varied caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Professional interest in supporting CFYs (Clinical Fellowship Year candidates) and SLPAs (Speech-Language Pathology Assistants)

Position Details :

  • Full-time contract for the 2025-2026 school year
  • Three openings available : Two positions supporting elementary levels One position serving a split caseload between middle and high school
  • Flexible location options within the district to accommodate caseload preferences
  • Responsibilities :

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language assessment and therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
  • Provide mentorship and support to CFYs and SLPAs as needed
