As an RN, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable standards of practice and the mission of our organization.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have :
A current state RN license or a multistate compact license.An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.Additional requirements include :
Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or obtained within 90 days after hire).Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or obtained within 6 months after hire).Current American Heart Association PALS Certification (or obtained within 6 months after hire).NIHSS Certification (obtained within 90 days after hire).Successful completion of an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire.Additionally, you should possess :
Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.The ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.Essential Functions
Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration and clinical treatments.Document patient care provided.Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physician, patient, and family.Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and nutrition.Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care.Evaluate learning needs of patients and provide appropriate education.Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.About Our Health System
