POSITION SUMMARY

This senior leadership position is responsible for creating and implementing unified marketing strategies and activations across multiple channels to drive sales revenue and awareness for the Twin Cities Nothing Bundt Cakes stores in the Sweet Cakes LLC network.

This role identifies and manages short and long-term business goals, partnership and marketing ventures, event benchmarks, community initiatives, online and in-store promotion implementation and publicity for existing (and new) locations.

This role upholds corporate brand guidelines and positively represents the brand through cohesive messaging and activation of internal communications and all external communications including local ad buys, trade, promotions, social media, event exposure, publicity, and community engagement. JOB SPECIFICS

  • Develop comprehensive annual marketing and sales strategies aligned with the overall business objectives. Analyze annual sales numbers, review marketing budget, and optimize campaigns to retain existing customers and attract new customers for the Nothing Bundt Cakes stores in the Sweet Cakes LLC network.
  • Define and monitor metrics to measure effectiveness of integrated promotional campaigns and community involvement for existing and potential territories.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to brand marketing, sales, and event managers as they implement partnerships, sales campaigns, branding initiatives, advertising, PR activities, and event activation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local media and local partners to enhance the network of stores.
  • Conduct local research, gather customer insights, identify target markets, assess competition, and implement customer-centric directives in stores and online.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure marketing, sales and event processes align with in-store promotions, staffing and support network expansion.
  • Other duties as assigned by local owners, senior leadership team and corporate liaisons.

SUPERVISORY This position oversees Manager of Partnership Sales, Manager of Brand & Creative, Manager of Catering and Manager of Events & Field Marketing.

Additionally, aid in the creation of event field marketing team : The Sweet Team. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, and 5- 10 years field / franchise marketing experience; preferred
  • Innovation and field experience in creating, negotiating, and implementing omni channel marketing campaigns.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, adaptive learner with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience leading teams through change.
  • Exemplify a collaborative approach with cross departmental communication and an ability to be decisive.
  • Display effective communication and relationship management skills as well as exceptional customer service.
  • Proven time management skills and experience working with time sensitive material.
  • Experience utilizing CRM tools, POS, SEO, and online project management applications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work schedule may include normal business hours plus additional nights / weekends / holidays.
