Opportunity Overview : A busy Level II Trauma Center in Independence, Missouri is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for an immediate locum assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for EM-trained providers who thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment with strong APP and physician coverage.

Position Details :

• Start Date : ASAP
• Duration : 3 Months
• Shift Structure :
• 60 hours / day of physician coverage (10-hour shifts)
• 58 hours / day of APP coverage (Mon-Fri)
• 48 hours / day of APP coverage (Sat-Sun)
• Annual Volume : 65,000 ED visits
• Facility : 42-bed Emergency Department
• Trauma Level : II
• Rapid Care Unit : Open 24 / 7
