This position can be based out of Terracon's Lubbock, TX, Little Rock, AR, or Asheville, NC office. This position will require frequent travel to project locations (80% or more).

General responsibilities include providing oversight to teams of laborers and heavy equipment operators performing environmental remediation construction services, preparing proposals and cost estimates, and reviewing and verifying project cost reports and remediation construction services. Services may take place in the field on client sites or in the engineering project office.

Essential roles and responsibilities include providing oversight on multiple project sites to skilled / certified and unskilled laborers and heavy equipment operators, preparing pre-construction proposals and estimating phases of projects, providing daily monitoring and progress of current and upcoming projects, reviewing and approving submittals for processing and contractor payment applications, monitoring cost, developing and maintaining project schedule status, planning, scheduling and dispatching staff to project sites, regularly communicating with clients, assuring necessary permits and utility notifications are secured, monitoring testing and remediation construction services, maintaining client relations, providing training and development to staff, attending and participating in project meetings, and participating in the recruitment and selection of staff.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology and 6 years' remediation construction experience or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years' related experience, experience as an equipment operator may be substituted for education, minimum 3 years' supervisory experience, computer knowledge and efficiency, strong decision making / problem solving skills, excellent time management and organizational skills, valid driver's license with acceptable violation history, and CDL preferred. For Remediation Construction projects, TWIC and DOT medical card preferred.

Preferred certification includes Department of Transportation Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

This position has been categorized as a "Remote Only" position. "Remote Only" employees do not have a designated workspace at an office, and typically work from home or another location.

The national standard salary range for this position is $83,200-$129,000. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
