Treasury Operations Specialist

Up to $44 / hr - depending on experience

Job Purpose : Under general supervision, the individual will play a crucial role in treasury operations, focusing on trade management and ensuring the efficient execution and processing of trades. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of treasury instruments and the ability to collaborate effectively with key business areas, particularly trading teams. The individual will be responsible for processing trade executions to meet custodian and market deadlines and ensuring accurate reflection in downstream systems. Active communication with broker counterparties and investment teams is essential, as well as contributing to the ongoing development of processes and the implementation of new funds and products.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support post-execution processes for various instrument types, including FX (spot), FX (forward contracts, deliverable, non-deliverable, and synthetic).
• Monitor systems linked to current process flows, identifying and resolving exceptions promptly.
• Process manual cash or trade instructions as needed.
• Engage with internal and external business partners daily.
• Complete start and end-of-day tasks related to Treasury Support.
• Manually process trade executions that fall outside automated processes.
• Respond to email and telephone inquiries, ensuring all are addressed on the day of receipt.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation exceptions identified by the Hyderabad reconciliations team.
• Seek measurable and effective opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Assist in system testing and support other Operations and GPS teams.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide support to senior team members.
