Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Kansas City, MO

You might be wondering what your paycheck will look like.

$1650 or more per week - And it gets better

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Hub Miles Pay : $0.636 per Mile with 1500 + Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay : $21.00 per Stop with 12 - 14 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay : $25.00 per night with 1 - 2 nights per Week
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Paid Training
• Loyalty Bonus : Pays you $2500 at 6 months and $2500 at 12 months
• Schedule : Monday - Friday; Occasional Weekend Routes As Needed
• 4 Day Work Week - Bid system every 4 months
• Start Time : 2 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 AM

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24 / 7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

• Deliver SOLO To : MO, KS, IA, OK, CO, and WY
• Tractor Type : Day Cab
• Trailer Type : 48' and 53' Dry Van
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Equipment : Manual Pallet Jack and Lift Gate
• Freight : Touch - Hardware
• We Reimburse Cost and Provide Training Support for Endorsements
• Endorsements : Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle :
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and / or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and / or procedures

Important Note : Additional requirements may be required in different locations and / or accounts.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and / or state laws, regulations, and / or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading / Unloading freight or assisting in the loading / unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
