Position Details
- 1.0 FTE, Monday- Friday 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm
- No weekends, call or holidays
- Location : Primarily based at CentraCare- Monticello Hospital in Monticello, MN with minimal, intermittent, coverage at St.
Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide quality care for adult patients and families;
- Treat patients with diagnoses of chest pain, syncope, heart failure, pneumonia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, Epistaxis, COPD, dehydration, and Upper GI Bleed, etc.
- Serve as a resource to nursing, care management, spiritual care, and other patient care providers;
- Assess, plan, evaluate, implement, and coordinate care of adult patients under the direction of the hospitalist service;
- Engage in a collaborative practice with other hospitalist physicians and APPs on the team;
- Opportunity to participate in hospital-based committees (Medical Executive Committee, Infection Prevention, Peer Review, etc.
- and quality improvement projects;

- 25-bed critical access hospital including Birth Center, Medical / Surgical Unit, Pediatrics, and ICU
- 10-bed Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Successfully completed a formal nurse practitioner or physician assistant program approved by a national accrediting agency.
Experience
Minimum of three years direct patient care experience (AGNP or PA) in an acute care environment such as Critical Care, ER, Hospital Medicine (Hospitalist) or other inpatient specialty required.
Licensure and Certifications
Current licensure as a APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) in the State of Minnesota required.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
Must have a current Physician Assistant (PA) license in Minnesota and Certification from NCCPA.
