Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team forthe upcomingacademic year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing support, guidance, and tailored instruction to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, in collaboration with parents, administrators, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and assistive technologies to facilitate student learning and engagement.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure the integration of students with disabilities in the general education curriculum and activities.
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instructional strategies accordingly to meet individualized goals and objectives.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress, discuss concerns, and solicit input for IEP development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education and instructional methodologies.
- Adhere to state and federal regulations governing special education services and maintain accurate and timely documentation as required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
- Prior experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a school setting.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of students with special needs.
- Ability to adapt instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes and data collection.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
