Fire Security Low Voltage Project Manager

What You Will Do Responsibilities :

  • Manage multiple projects with complex scopes involving all low voltage systems
  • Coordinate labor, purchase materials and equipment at various stages of the project
  • Be a resource and point of contact for the customer including General Contractors, Electrical Contractors and Owners
  • Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and drive repeat business
  • Ensure that projects are carried out with attention to detail and quality.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for projects including cut sheets, as builts, etc.
  • Accurately forecast manpower requirements for all managed projects
  • Forecast billing and material costs for projects over the life of the project
  • Create change orders as needed throughout the life of the project
  • Provide progress information & reports at regular intervals to meet internal and external reporting deadlines.
  • Constantly monitor billing, material and labor forecasting throughout the lifespan of a project
  • Negotiate with suppliers to ensure that projected material costs are met or exceeded.
  • Responsible for completing projects on time and within budget
  • Ensure industry and company safety policies and procedures are followed

What We Are Looking For :

Required :

  • Must have a high level of knowledge and hands on experience with managing low voltage projects.
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage many projects simultaneously
  • Experience with project management software
  • Great leadership and organizational skills.
  • Highly proficient in computer skills.
  • Must be able to read requests for proposals, and floor plans and provide proposals accordingly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational ability and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Represent the company in a professional, credible manner in speech, written communication, and appearance.

Preferred :

  • 5+ years of experience in the fire life-safety, security, and low voltage industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management
  • BICSI Certification
  • PMP certification
