Job Description : Responsibilities :
Responsibilities :
- Promptly communicates and acts upon Plant Quality Concern Notifications (QCNs).
- Presents issue resolution status to plant management team.
- Serves as primary liaison with Quality teams and supplier sites.
- Facilitates corporate office visits from suppliers.
- Empowered to allocate corporate resources as needed.
- Understands supplier manufacturing processes and responsibilities.
- Coordinates Multi Party Agreements and Bailment Agreements for tier 2 parts.
- Proficient in Specifications, SCs, and CCs.
- Provides daily support across multiple shifts.
- Participates in investigations with Incoming Quality and PVT for emerging quality concerns.
- Ensures timely return and delivery of defective parts to supplier plants.
- Proactively resolves issues at plants, ensuring clean part cutoff and use of certified stock.
- Verifies and ensures quarantine of suspect stock, preventing reintroduction into assembly.
- Manages part return processes.
- Conducts functional and visual part tests as necessary.
- Drives issue closure and communicates status through PCA to stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- BS in Engineering or equivalent STEM major.
Preferred Skills :
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in injection molding and plastic fabrication.
- Knowledge of quality defects in molded components.
- Prior experience with testing and validation software.
- Familiarity with wiring harness engineering, troubleshooting, and vehicle electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
- Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies like Black Belt, Shainin, Green Belt, Global 8D, etc.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
