A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - PCU Job Details : - Work on D2 inpatient overflow unit with mixed level of care including medical surgical and step-down patients - Patient ratios of 1 : 5 / 1 : 6 stretch depending on level of care - Handle short stay patients with less than 24-hour length of stay and quick turnover - Work with telemetry equipment - all patients hardwired to bedside monitor when telemetry monitoring is indicated - Use Cerner EMR system - Work every other weekend, no on-call requirements - Required to float to other units as needed - Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience - Recent progressive care experience preferred - Required certifications : BLS and ACLS - Dress code : Navy and / or white top, navy bottom, all white - Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - Must demonstrate positive attitude, patient experience focus, kindness, compassion, and ability to work as team player Facility : This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides progressive care services with a focus on mixed-level patient care including medical surgical and step-down units.
