Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the setup and operation of diesel engine test installations, involving intricate electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical responsibilities.
  • Work on installations and hardware adaptations to ensure optimal performance standards.
  • Ensure proper conditions for each test, gather data meticulously, and expertly dismantle setups post-testing.
  • Collaborate with engineering colleagues to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and refine testing protocols.
  • Utilize precision instruments to verify part quality, recommending replacements as necessary.
  • Execute comprehensive testing cycles across various power applications and gather data for analysis.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, ensuring continuous improvement in processes and output.
  • Contribute to mentoring initiatives, benefiting from guidance while supporting peers.
  • Commit to self-directed learning, enhancing expertise in the field.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and environmental policies.

Required Expertise :

  • Mechanical understanding and familiarity with diesel and gas engines, testing operations, or data systems.
  • Experience with computer-controlled equipment, particularly with Microsoft Suite proficiency.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all company stakeholders.
  • Completion of a High School education or equivalent, with preference for an Associate's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Working Environment & Physical Requirements :

    Expect activities that require standing, walking, handling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and communication. Be prepared to occasionally lift over 50 pounds and adapt to variable weather and factory conditions, recognizing potential hazards.

    Expertise in alternative fuel systems, transmission and drivetrain, and light vehicle diesel engines will enhance your success in this role.
