Immediate position opening for a Full-Time Kitchen Helper / Dietary Aide at Hale Malamalama Nursing Home. You will help ensure that residents enjoy a healthy diet, and work with the Dietary Supervisor, Registered Dietitian, and other kitchen staff members.
Mandatory Qualifications :
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
Responsibilities :
- Create meal plans
- Read and understand recipes
- Prepare and serve meals using specific procedures
- Serve standard meals to maintain sanitation and quality
- Monitor residents daily eating habits
- Provide any dietary concerns to residents family members
- Clean assigned dining areas using appropriate procedures
- Wash dishes and utensils according to acceptable standards of practice
- Must work quickly, efficiently, and in a team environment
- Stand for long periods of time and able to lift 30lbs or more
