About The Position
Shift : 12 Hour 3 nights on 1 off, 3 nights on 7 off. Friday-Sunday 7p-7a, Monday off, Tuesday-Thursday 7p-7a, Friday-Thursday offSign-On Bonus-15,000Relocation-5,000Description : Responsibilities Supporting Patient CarePerforms patient assessment and screening within the scope of practice.
Bills procedures and associated supplies.Meets the daily goals of the work group by prioritizing workflow.Uses a variety of imaging equipment and understands the capabilities and limitations of each piece of equipment.
Uses the image archiving system and maintains an expertise in data and image transfer.Notifies Supervisor or Manager when equipment malfunctions and notifies the appropriate vendor.
Cleans, disinfects, and inspects equipment.Checks the status of the imaging equipment to ensure device is in proper operating condition.
Performs Quality Assurance testing to ensure proper calibration and optimal performance of equipment.Other duties as assigned.
Experience : Technologists should have the correct understanding of Radiology and CT equipment, physics and Human Anatomy and Physiology to produce accurate images.
Can apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients and co-workers.Certifications / License : Maintains licensure, certifications and ongoing CEUs for professional development on a timely basisCompletion of formal radiological technology training Current WA State Radiologic Technologist CertificationCurrent ARRT (American Registry of Radiological Technologists) registrationCurrent CT Certification from the ARRT-Willing to Cross training.
Needs to have CT Certification within 1 yearCurrent BLS Certification
