About The Position
Job Title : Inpatient Physical Therapist Job Specialty : Acute Care Hospital Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day, 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 17 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : 2 Years Minimum Experience in Acute Care and Wound Care License : Compact or State License in Hand Upon Submission Certifications : AHA Certifications Required, AWHONN Intermediate for L&D Must-Have : COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines Required (Medical / Religious Exemptions for COVID-19 Only) Job Description : Provide acute care physical therapy to patients across a wide age range, from 0-99 years.
- Work with high-level ICU patients, including those requiring ECMO, neuro / stroke care, multi-trauma recovery, and cardiac rehabilitation.
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 : 30 PM.- Must have experience with physical therapy in an acute care setting.
- Engage in wound care management as part of therapy responsibilities.- Ensure compliance with facility standards and protocols during patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.- Orientation session required upon commencement.
