Bradford Health Services, a leader in substance use disorder treatment for both inpatient and outpatient programs, is looking for an experienced clinical leader to support our expanding outpatient program in South Mississippi.
The ideal candidate will be able to both lead and work alongside a motivated goup of clinicians to help patients reach their recovery goals.
Experience includes :
Master's Degree in behavioral sciences. Fully licensed in Missippi as a LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar program. At least three years post masters and two years supervisory experience.
Experience in chemical dependency setting preferred. Knowledge of organizational structure of corporations, school systems, healthcare, and judicial systems and demonstrated experience in office management preferred.
Excellent verbal and oral communication and management skills required.
General Responsibilities :
Plans, organizes and controls overall functions of the outpatient and outreach location in accordance with corporate policies and objectives.
Carry out individual marketing and public relations activities. Establish and maintain effective communication between referral sources and facility.
Supervise and assist business affairs, clinical operations, crisis and marketing staff along with their activities.
Know and abide by the general provisions of 42 CFR Part 2, "Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patient Records"; and 45 CFR "Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act".
This position has unrestricted access to patient health information.
Essential Functions :
1. Supervise and direct all locations affairs in accordance with established Bradford policies and practices.
2. Carry out all policies established by corporate directives.
3. Selects, employs, manages and discharges all employees and maintains personnel policies of the facility.
4. Responsible for annual location marketing and financial budget plans.
5. Keep all physical properties in good repair and operating condition.
6. Supervise all business affairs and ensure that the results of operations are in line with the budget.
7. Coordinate with the crisis coordinator and clinical staff to establish and maintain effective communication between referral sources and the facility.
8. Work with the clinical staff and all others rendering professional services to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
9. Responsible for location compliance with all Bradford Health Services policy and procedures.
10. Ability to work in a cooperative manner with coworkers, clients, managers, prospective clients.
11. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness as to perform job safely.
12. Carries out individual marketing and public relations activities as needed.
13. Regular attendance.
14. Other duties as assigned.
Other requirements :
1. Must have valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
2. Must be able to see at 20 / 40 corrected in each eye and hear (hearing aide accepted.)
3. Must be able to continuously sit for 6 hours of an 8-hour shift.
4. Must be emotionally and physically capable of functioning under stressful situations.
5. If recovering, three years of continuous verifiable abstinence.
