Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and offers clinic coverage Monday through Friday during the day, with additional weeknight and 24-hour weekend and holiday on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will provide expert obstetric and gynecologic care and ensure high standards of patient safety and service throughout the assignment.

  • Schedule :
  • Clinic Coverage : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
  • Weeknight On-Call Coverage : Monday through Friday, 4 : 30 PM – 8 : 00 AM
  • Weekend & Holiday On-Call Coverage : 24-hour shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both clinic and on-call settings
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of women's health conditions
  • Perform routine and emergency obstetric procedures
  • Conduct gynecologic examinations and procedures as indicated
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Adhere to all current clinical protocols and safety standards

  • Required board certification : Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Required certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Any state medical license accepted
