Graduate Civil Engineer - Water Resources Austin, TX

Halff has an opening for a Graduate Engineer to work on our Water Resources team in Austin, TX. The responsibilities of this position will be to successfully work on projects and work closely with our internal and external clients, perform flood risk education and planning, flood infrastructure planning, and design for private and public stormwater infrastructure.

Halff is seeking a skilled professional to work in a highly collaborative environment to create cost-effective, maintainable and sustainable solutions for municipalities, governmental agencies and developers.

Graduate Civil Engineer - Water Resources Requirements :

• Minimum 2 years of experience in water resources
• Ability to work in teams and multi-task
• Strong technical background
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills

Project Manager - Water Resources Preferred Qualifications :

• Technical experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and ArcGIS
• Experience with 2D modeling, integrated H&H modeling, and CADD software packages
• Floodplain Manager certification or able to obtain within six months
• GISP license preferred
• EIT license in the state of Texas
