Healthcare Litigation Associate Attorney - Charleston
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated mid-level Associate to join our top-tier Healthcare Litigation practice in Charleston, SC.
This role is an excellent opportunity to handle high-profile healthcare litigation cases within a supportive and collegial environment.
The successful candidate will manage complex litigation matters involving healthcare reimbursement, disputes, and federal litigation, helping to drive strategy and deliver outstanding results for our clients.
Compensation : $250,000.00 - $315,000.00 plus a discretionary performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, voluntary insurance including vision, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and additional perks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage a diverse range of healthcare litigation matters with precision and expert knowledge.
- Expertly draft motions, briefs, and prepare for depositions in the healthcare litigation arena.
- Engage in federal litigation and navigate complex healthcare reimbursement disputes effectively.
- Provide strategic counsel on multifaceted litigation matters, ensuring the delivery of superior final work products.
- Collaborate closely with a national team, contributing dynamically to the growth and success of the healthcare litigation practice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pertinent legislation and case law to maximize client outcomes.
Minimum Position Qualifications :
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Current bar admission in South Carolina.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in healthcare litigation or complex litigation settings.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality written work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in managing substantial litigation workloads effectively.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Federal litigation experience is highly favored.
- Background in healthcare reimbursement compliance, defense, and litigation.
- Experience in handling government and private payer disputes.
- Previous roles that required managing significant caseloads independently.
- Federal clerkship is considered a significant advantage.
