How You’ll Contribute

Provides audiovisual support, documentary field production, live broadcast coverage, and archival preservation of significant government activities. Combines technical expertise, creative storytelling, and operational flexibility to deliver high‑quality live and recorded media that meets broadcast and archival standards. Senior candidates also mentor junior staff.

What You’ll Do

• Operate / lead camera crews for major events and multi‑camera shoots involving senior officials for sensitive documentation.
• Provide live video coverage for open press events, ensuring footage is streamed and archived by government standards.
• Capture candid footage with narrative continuity and historical accuracy; adapt to real‑time developments and security protocols.
• Set up, operate, and maintain broadcast‑quality AV equipment in studio and remote environments.
• Support live event switching, camera direction, AV signal processing, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate live feeds and secure transmissions; ensure content meets technical standards for broadcast and archival retention.
• Catalog, edit, and archive media using proper metadata per NARA guidelines; conduct quality reviews and advise on workflow improvements.
• Respond to AV support requests within two hours, including surge support for unplanned events and emergencies.

Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills and experience depending on the position offered, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
