Job Description :
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Jackson, MS.
As a school PT, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential by developing and implementing individualized physical therapy programs.
You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments to identify students' physical therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and document students' progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Provide training and support to school staff on physical therapy-related issues.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals.
Qualifications :
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- Current Mississippi state licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
