We are looking for an accountable person with experience in maintenance, repair, and remodeling. The primary responsibility for this position is performing maintenance, turnover, and remodel work at our apartment properties located in Shoreline, Renton, Kent, and Burien.
This is a full-time position with great long-term potential as we promote from within. You must have dependable transportation, willing to travel to all properties in King County, have your own hand tools, and a good attitude.
Significant past experience as a professional maintenance worker is highly preferred and a positive attitude and willingness to learn is a must!
Responsibilities :
- Troubleshooting and performing routine plumbing, electrical and other repairs
- Perform unit turnover work such as painting and general repair work
- Remodel work including carpentry, drywall, tile setting, flooring, minor electrical and plumbing
- Interact with tenants in a professional and friendly manner
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in general maintenance / carpentry
- Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA)
- Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs on a consistent basis
