The Role.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a driven leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is ready to get involved at every level.
The role demands a passion for building from teams to processes enhancing collaboration and driving initiatives that support growth and operational efficiency.
The Work.
Sales Leadership and Performance Management
- Assist in developing 100-day plans for the entire Sales department.
- Review and approve certain level deals for LOIs, escalating as needed.
- Help train and develop the Sales team (LOs, RMs, and Sales Associates (SAs)).
- Collaborate in creating performance metrics for LOs and provide regular reporting.
- Assist in conducting monthly Sales team meetings and create agendas.
- Review pipelines with LOs and approve revisions as needed of loans in the pipeline.
- Collaborate with hiring critical sales team members, ensuring alignment with market needs and business strategy.
Operational Process Creation and Improvement and Technology Integration
- Create, manage, and update process improvements for Sales Team.
- Work on modifications and monthly updates for mission critical company tools such as the Loan Structuring Tool (LST), InstaGlance and Letter of Interest (LOI) templates.
- Collaborate in developing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, data reporting protocols, and lead processes with the Ascent Data Initiative (ADI) team.
- Collaborate with the ADI team to perfect dashboards and lead protocols.
- Organize SharePoint for the Sales Division and establish processes for communication and data management.
Executive and Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Organize, prepare, and help lead senior internal credit / sales meetings to review larger deals.
- Work closely with Finance on monthly commission reports, and other financial processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement critical company projects.
- Attend company meetings with external data sources (e.g., John Burns, Forecasa) and participate in Data Governance, company pipeline meetings, and client relationship management meetings, to include phone calls with borrowers.
Your Skills and Experience.
- Proven success and extensive experience within commercial / construction lending (SFR / MFR) roles, or equivalent.
- Bank and / or Private money lending experience preferred.
- Proven track record in cultivating new client relationships and excellent customer service skills.
- Strong team leadership, influencing, presentation, negotiation, analytical and communications skills required.
- Strategic yet tactical mindset with a readiness to tackle challenges directly.
- Proactive in building solutions that enhance productivity and organizational performance.
- Strong collaborative skills, able to build partnerships and alliances internally and with external partners of all levels.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
The Pay.
Total compensation will be in the range of $200,000 - $400,000 (commensurate with experience).
Location.
This is an on-site position based in Ascent's Encino corporate headquarters.
