The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Berkeley, NJ.
Details for the position are as follows :
Job Description :
Pay : $45-49.18 / hour to start!
Assignment Length : 12 months with possibility of extension or conversion based on performance & budget.
Shift : Monday - Friday, standard shift, HYBRID ROLE (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Responsibilities include :
Primarily responsible for purchase order management, including reconciliation of goods receipts to invoices, ensuring consistent financial structure, and reducing time to pay vendors.
Review and approve shopping carts, including validating SOW's, financial structure, payment schedules, providing necessary feedback to educate business partners to ensure compliance to accounting standards.
Perform month-end tasks, including YFAP report & entry (SAP systematic accrual to delivery schedules) and preparation of analysis for journal entries and manual accruals.
Monitor actual spending activities, analyze, and coordinate with domain controllers to report the financial performance to senior management to explain monthly cost variances and identify areas of risk and opportunities.
Partner with IT clients to drive solution to budget issues, assisting with resource prioritization and to ensure that overall financial commitments are met accurately.
Also, will be doing financial reporting, consolidation, management of IT costs, including OPEX + CAPEX for the US time zones.
Day to day tasks :
Approve purchase orders and input into tracker.
Partner with IT finance on business partner meetings.
Mid / end of month checks : PO / Expense / YFAP
Communicate to buyers to GR or update delivery schedule.
Ad-hoc analysis as necessary.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree REQUIRED. MBA a plus!
2-5 years of experience within corporate finance.
Previous experience and working knowledge of accounting, purchase orders and accounts payable.
Skilled in the utilization of SAP.
Strong MS Office skills, specifically Excel.
Working knowledge of PowerBI preferred.
Strong analytical, problem solving, multi-tasking and communication skills.
