Job Summary
FFE is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Cincinnati team. The Project Manager will work under the direction of the Project Delivery Manager to manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple projects during the proposal, design, and construction phases.
The successful candidate will have the drive to jump into complex technical problems and not be afraid to work outside of their comfort zone to help our owner’s representatives and project teams be successful.
They will be clever, highly organized, take pride in their work, and confidently lead a multi-discipline team.
Responsibilities
- Project initiation
- Develop a detailed understanding of project scope through review of RFP documents, contracts, and reviews with owner’s representatives
- Schedule and lead meetings with owner teams and design teams
- Coordinate the work of Joint Venture partners and subconsultants
- Develop project schedules milestone and detailed
- Provide regular progress updates to owner’s representatives
- Develop project specific QC plans and ensure they are being followed by the design teams
- Coordinate the issuance of design submittals with all team members (internal and external)
- Manage distribution of construction submittals, requests for information, and design addenda
- Review client and vendor invoices for accuracy
- Ensure contract requirements are met

- Cross-functional collaborator within FFE, partners, and owners
- Ability to manage multiple projects in different phases of development
- Detail oriented, with the ability to understand the big picture
- Driven to accomplish work while constantly seeking process improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Professional licensure as an Architect or Engineer
- 10+ years experience in a design environment
- Expert capabilities MS Project, MS Excel, Teams, One Note, and Sharepoint
- Experience publishing construction documents
- Experience with Deltek Ajera is an added advantage
