Salary : Purpose

The Paver, Screw & Roller Operators are responsible for safely operating equipment used for paving road beds, parking lots, or airport runways and taxiways.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to spread, smooth and level asphalt.
• Responsible for monitoring the material run quantities.
• Ensure that the flow of material and proper depth of material being laid by the meet all customer specifications, adjust as needed.
• May operate a variety of equipment dependent upon skill set.
• Performs a variety of tasks associated with paving operations including job site labor duties.
• Participates in cross training activities.
• Operates all equipment and tools according to safety procedures and performs all manual labor activities in a safe manner.
