Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Management Intern to support the facilities repair and maintenance function of our IT Help Desk team. This internship provides hands-on experience in managing repairs and maintenance operations, maintenance schedules, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, organized, and eager to learn the ins and outs of facilities management in a dynamic work environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in daily oversight of building operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks.
• Help track and manage maintenance requests and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Support the IT Help Desk team in coordinating with third-party vendors and service providers.
• Help ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Update facility records, manuals, floor plans, and emergency procedures.
