Licensed Veterinary Technician, Pet Emergency Treatment

Pet Emergency Treatment ER is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our Specialty Department (Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Dentistry).

This position offers the flexibility of both part-time and full-time opportunities. As an LVT in our team, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, ensuring the highest standard of care for our patients.

Compensation : $30-35 / hr (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities :

• Perform advanced diagnostic procedures, including CT scans, radiology, and endoscopy.
• Conduct accurate drug calculations and ensure proper drug exposure.
• Apply extensive knowledge of pharmacology and current medical practices.
• Collaborate effectively within a small team, supporting and coaching colleagues.
• Exhibit strong initiative and self-motivation, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain ethical and moral standards in all professional activities.

Qualifications :

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT / RVT / CVT) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in advanced diagnostic techniques.
• Strong pharmacology knowledge.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
