We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler. The master scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining the schedule of workflow throughout the company to support the achievement of forecasted revenue and customer on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Schedule work orders to meet deadlines promised by sales
• Work in conjunction with sales, engineering, and purchasing to optimize workflow
• Provide recommendations on moving resources, drive work orders to ship to Outside Service Providers (OSP) to maintain delivery schedules, and highlight upcoming overtime needs in overloaded work centers.
• Work in collaboratively with the Production Manager to create monthly revenue forecast to meet financial budget targets
• Provide input from schedule to maintain a rolling 13-month forecast
• Provide guidance on new quote lead times based on capacity of machines / resources
• Review resource capacity with Production Manager and President and provide recommendations to maintain and meeting customer's On-Time Delivery Metrics
• Support Production Manager by providing both short- and long-range schedule visibility to execute with certainty
• Identify inefficiencies in the schedule or workflow and adjust as needed
• Identify potential roadblocks to meeting the due dates and actively pursue corrective actions
• Interact daily with department leads to adjust schedules based on their feedback
• Work with maintenance to schedule machine downtime for preventative maintenance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Attend quoting and pre-production meetings

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in developing manufacturing plans and timelines.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Must possess a keen sense of attention to detail.
• Must possess a strong sense of urgency to meet the customer and stakeholders expectations
• Must possess ERP experience
• MRP experience is preferred
• Microsoft office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word) and overall mid to advanced level computer experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in production scheduling.
• Experience with enterprise software solutions in large, complex organizations.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive defined processes.
• Must perform all duties in conjunction with quality system requirements.

Position Requirements

For ITAR compliance, all employees at this location must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

Equipment Used

Software used for scheduling includes ProShop ERP, Sage X3 ERP & Amplifi Bluefox.
