Position : Software Engineer II, IAM

Location : Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that content authorization policies are aligned with overall security objectives.
  • Design and develop software for shared services including ingress and egress proxies, email services, logging, and metrics pipelines.
  • Utilize JavaScript and Golang programming languages to implement backend services in a Service-Oriented Event-Driven architecture environment.
  • Maintain and update software codes to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and resiliency of company proprietary software using tools including Splunk, Source Clear, and Fortify to identify and resolve application and / or security issues.
  • Develop software systems utilizing ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Lambda, EventBridge, Redis, Datadog, Kafka, and Solace.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with JavaScript and Golang programming languages.
  • Experience with tools such as Splunk, Source Clear, and Fortify.
  • Experience with ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, EKS, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Lambda, EventBridge, Redis, Datadog, Kafka, and Solace.

Telecommuting and / or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE.

Salary : $137,661.00 - $218,500.00 / year
