Women’s Health Services is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a team member, you will be an important part of a well-established and growing independent abortion clinic.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- greeting patients and promoting comfort for them and their support people,
- completing clerical intake procedures and initiate patient's visit in our electronic health record,
- managing payment systems, including handling cash and cards,
- navigating insurance systems and pledges as needed
- helping clinic flow

Skills / Qualifications
- Must be committed to reproductive justice and enthusiastic about accessible abortion care
- Clear, effective communicator
- Able to prioritize various administrative tasks and delegate as appropriate
- Detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills and time management
- Approachable and non-judgmental
- Able to collaborate well and motivate team members
- Desired qualifications / skills : Spanish speaking, previous experience with the above-listed responsibilities
