Job Description :
Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a maternity leave coverage at a middle school in San Diego.
This part-time position is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about working with middle school students and making a meaningful impact on their communication skills and overall educational experience.
Responsibilities :
- Provide speech and language therapy to middle school students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide necessary reports
- Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective therapy services
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in a school setting, particularly with middle school students, is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
