About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2669 To $2965 Job Title : Radiotherapy Technologist Job Specialty : Radiation Therapist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 5 x 8hrs (Monday through Friday) day shift with 0700 - 0800 start time Guaranteed Hours : 32 Experience : Minimum of 3 years in Radiation Oncology License : ARRT and CA RTT Certifications : BLS certification Must-Have : - Experience with Varian TrueBeam and / or MOSAIQ preferred Job Description : Properly set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed.
- Assess patient status during direct patient interaction and make appropriate referrals to various healthcare team members.
- Prepare for treatment delivery, including chart / film checks, room setup, calculations, and electronic medical record (MOSAIQ) checks.
- Manage treatment calendars, including programming port films.- Perform patient setup and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning purposes, as needed.
- Work closely with other radiation therapists and team members to perform additional tasks as needed.- Holiday coverage is required.
- Up to 36 hours of shift cancellation may be utilized by the facility during the course of the assignment.
