Summary

The position is based out of the global headquarters in Carson, CA. The successful candidate will direct, manage, and drive activities for assigned national and regional account(s), consistent with Dermalogica and The International Dermal Institute (IDI) business philosophy and values.

Manages aspects of strategic planning and tactical relationships within assigned National Account(s). Achieves sales goals and program execution by working effectively with management, marketing, finance, operations, customer service, and education resources.

Coordinates activities to ensure achievement of revenue budgets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieves National Account sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Create business strategies and action plans.
  • Identify opportunities and challenges to create strategies to maximize sell in, sell through, profit, revenue, and market share.
  • Identify, develop, and negotiate new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute quarterly and annual business plans in partnership with assigned accounts.
  • Develop and negotiate terms and conditions to effectively manage overall profitability at each assigned account.
  • Ensure that assigned accounts adhere to contract guidelines.
  • Regularly assess performance against goals. Communicate and update US Senior Director of National PST Accounts and GM with strategic account information and initiatives as required.
  • Provide thorough data analysis and customer recaps for all meetings.
  • Assume the lead role in the preparation and delivery of customer presentations.
  • Meet with accounts to maintain relationships, planning and building business growth. Enhance existing and establish new business relationships throughout account organizations.
  • Analyze and understand industry market trends, competition, products, packaging, and pricing that may impact sales efforts and communicate this information to sales management and other departments as necessary.
  • Regular assessment of current state of account; inventory management; competition within the target; key decision makers;
  • issues / pain points within the account and within the customer’s marketplace; potential solutions and products; opportunity for new product and service offerings;

and action plan to optimize potential throughout the assigned accounts.

  • Disseminate reports to measure account performance, identifying, formulating, and implementing strategies to maximize sales opportunities to increase profitable sales performance.
  • Communicate effectively throughout the organization.
  • Conduct monthly business reviews.
  • Achieve sell-in goals for respective accounts.
  • Effectively manage marketing and promotional budgets to achieve targets.
  • Implement and execute effective events, monthly, quarterly, and annually; seeking out new ways to grow the business and ensuring a plan to anniversary all prior events.
  • Work with education to appropriately schedule and communicate opportunities for ongoing education both in-person and online for PST’s and store teams.
  • Consistently work with the National PST accounts to improve our partnership by participating in social media opportunities and finding new ways of increasing engagement.

Education and Experience

BA / BS preferred with a minimum 5-7 years of progressive account or sales management experience within the consumer goods, professional skin / hair (manufacturer or distributor) industries.

Hand & Stone experience required.

  • Up to 75% travel expected.

The expected base salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.

This role is eligible for participation in our company bonus plan, rewarding personal performance and company results.
