Senior Technical Services Engineer - Remote

Responsibilities
- Review, establish, and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications to ensure code compliance, meet customer specifications, and optimize designs linked to required code, contract requirements, and manufacturability.
- Organize, facilitate and lead ASME and other code compliance audits; collaborate with Quality to ensure quality systems comply with ASME code and ISO 9001-2015.
- Prevent compliance issues by collaborating with sales, engineering, and design teams SESG-wide; review customer specifications for RFQ support and prepare proposal documents as needed.
- Provide consultations with SESG Engineering Departments on advanced engineering calculations, code specification clarity, and auditing of engineering outputs for high-profile designs.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.
- Plan and execute systems migrations, integrations, and updates.
- Analyze and input to project teams on compliance with global standards (e.g., CRN Canada, PED Europe) and others; manage approval processes for CRN, PED, and other required codes.
- Assist in researching new markets by determining ability to meet requirements and obtaining required approvals and certifications.
- Monitor and manage revisions in standards throughout the product lifecycle; review and disposition engineering changes affecting compliance.
- Support on-site assessments and respond to questions from third-party regulators and customers as required.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to improve processes; contribute to developing operational processes, procedures, best practices, and methods.
- Interact with internal and external users / customers to provide technical support; work with Quality, Engineering, and Customer Care to ensure field service work is code compliant and meets customer expectations.
- Lead pre-manufacturing meetings for new products or highly complex orders; support operations to ensure built-to-code products.
- Ensure technical capabilities of operations are properly scoped, implemented, maintained, and compliant.
- Uphold and participate in the company's quality and EHS programs; perform other duties as assigned.
- Engage in continuous improvement for processes within and adjacent to the job role; recognize and resolve customer satisfaction issues.
Education and Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience, or associate's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.Qualifications
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations.Understanding and support of company policies and procedures.Ability to understand and abide by safety rules and regulations.Basic computer skills; reading, writing, and simple math abilities; ability to read blueprints.Good communication skills.Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) and Professional Engineer designation preferred.Member of American Welding Society; experience with pressure vessels and / or steel manufacturing preferred.Strong verbal and written communication, project management, and analytical skills.Experience in related industry is an asset; on-the-job training will be provided.Benefits
