Lead Legal Counsel
A company is looking for a Lead Legal Counsel to shape the growth of the legal team in the fintech and consumer lending space.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic legal advice and navigate regulatory compliance in consumer lendingSupport product development by advising on legal and regulatory considerationsDraft and negotiate commercial agreements and assist with employment and customer disputesRequired QualificationsJD and active bar membership in at least one state4-8 years of experience as a practicing attorney, preferably in-house and at a law firmPrior startup experience is strongly preferredExperience in fintech, consumer lending, and / or payments is strongly preferredWorking knowledge of key consumer lending laws and regulations is helpful
