Senior Payer Policy Analyst

A company is looking for a Senior Payer Policy Analyst to assist with policy and alliance development activities.

Key Responsibilities

Develops understanding of existing and emerging technologies to provide education and insights on payer policy

Monitors payer policy updates and acts as a liaison between medical directors and payer medical directors

Advocates company positions on regulatory proposals and communicates updates through reporting mechanisms

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of relevant work experience (or 7 years without a degree)

Advanced degree preferred (MBA, JD, M.A. / M.S., CGC, RN)

Prior experience in genetic counseling or a clinical / business setting

Experience with insurance guidelines and payer policy

Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle processes
