About The Team

Worldpay Cloud Data Platform team provides WorldPay Big Data capabilities including large scale data processing, analytics, fraud platforms, machine learning engineering, stream processing and data insights.

Worldpay Cloud Data Platform team help maintain and advance cloud data platforms and services to build data products powering our business services and customers.

What You'll Own

• Work directly in a platform team responsible for operational performance of cloud-based systems : CDAP, EKS, Helm, Docker, Terraform, Snowflake, Airflow, AWS (Amazon Web Services) EMR, Spark, Jenkins, Harness, Kafka, snowflake, Attunity, Tableau, etc
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems that provide value to end-users
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure business continuity, and a high bar for end-user experience
• Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design, security, compliance etc.) to bring ideas to life
• Set and maintain high standards of technical excellence across the team.
• Mentor junior engineers and help hire new talent to build a stronger team

What You Bring

• At a minimum, a Bachelor's in CS or equivalent education, and either 6+ years of relevant professional experience or advanced degree such as a master's or PhD with 4+ years
• Proficiency in at least two modern development framework / language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and cloud-based systems (CDAP, EKS, Docker, Helm, Terraform, Snowflake, Kafka, Airflow, AWS, Jenkins, Harness)
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience leading projects from architectural design to production, while setting and maintaining high standards of technical excellence across your team
• Expertise in at least one area relevant to our cloud-based financial platform (e.g., fintech, distributed systems, databases, security, or front-end)

Worldpay is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $105,070.

00 - $176,520.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location.

Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
