Overview

The Senior Full Stack Application Developer will be responsible for the broader process of developing and deploying enhancements and / or new applications used in local, networked or cloud-based or internet-related computer programs. They will use their technical expertise in tools, delivery models and Oracle PL / SQL and APEX based programming languages, in conjunction with their methodology expertise to collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and solutions. This role requires a foundational understanding of Oracle programming languages, Oracle tools, and delivery models, as well as the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. The incumbent will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including project teams, business analysts, and end-users, to ensure the development process is running smoothly. Ultimately, the incumbent will play a vital role in ensuring the organization\'s software applications are effective, efficient, and provide a seamless experience for the end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze system requirements and translate them into software programming specifications
  • Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug software applications using current programming languages
  • Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance of software
  • Collaborate and communicate closely with various stakeholders such as users, developers, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of products and solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and programming languages to ensure the team\'s skills and expertise are current

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

    • Education

    Required

  • Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Information Technology (e.g. Computer Science, Technology Management, Software Engineering, Application Development, Web Development and Design, etc.) or in lieu of a degree, at least 7 years of experience in application development or application engineering

    • Knowledge and Experience

    Required

  • 4-6+ years of experience in software development, specifically in application development engineering
  • Experience in programming languages such as PL / SQL, Oracle APEX
  • Familiarity with software development tools such as Git
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

    • Preferred

  • Experience of software development in the Supply Chain Planning or Demand Forecasting space
  • Experience with Agile software development
