I’m the interim medical director for St. Vincent Medical Center in Billings, Montana. I’ve been a part of Sound for a year, helping maintain and grow our hospitalist programs nationwide.

Practice

• The hospital is a not-for-profit, 286-bed hospital with a closed ICU setting. Procedures aren’t required.
• We are looking for a hospital medicine medical director to manage the hospital team hired by the hospital.
• We have an excellent compensation package. We recently increased our overall compensation package.

• Our hospitalist practice is very collaborative, and our hospitalists participate in multiple hospital committees. Some of our hospitalists serve as physician advisors.
• We value and support growth and development in our hospital medicine practice, allowing you to explore new opportunities locally and within the broader medical group.

• Transportation and housing challenges are seen within our community. Our team involves social workers and case managers early in a patient’s hospital course to address SDOH.
• Our team participates in many community events and fundraising events.
