Octagon Talent Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic Entry Level Social Media and Events Coordinator to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
This role is vital to our mission of promoting economic sustainability and a brighter future through educational programs and on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities : Graphic Design : Make cool and engaging graphics for social media, websites, and print materials that match our brand's look and feel.
Event Management : Help plan and manage educational meetups, workshops, and events to support learning and community growth.
Promotional Materials : Design flyers, posters, and other promotional items to get people excited about our events and programs.
Social Media Engagement : Assist in running our social media accounts by posting updates, creating fun content, and talking with our followers.
Team Collaboration : Work with our marketing and events team to make sure everything we do looks great and communicates our message well.
Requirements : Creative Skills : Good at using graphic design software like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. A portfolio showing your design work is a plus.
Organizational Skills : Able to manage multiple tasks and keep things organized. Communication Skills : Good at talking and writing to collaborate with others and promote our events.
Tech-Savvy : Comfortable using technology and digital tools for design and event planning. Team Player : Enjoy working with others and being part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications : Interest in technology, space, energy, or manufacturing sectors. Experience using social media platforms and making content.
