We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Test and Design Engineer to join the team with MB Solutions Inc.
As an Electrical Test and Design Engineer in the Electrical, Data and Controls Section in the Operations and Test Department, you will perform the following duties in support of test facility operations and maintenance :
- Support test electrical buildup and operations and produce required documentation.
- Design and oversee the installation of low voltage power distribution systems.
- Program PLCs or NI equipment, specify sensors, develop calibration curves
- Specify and initiate procurement of electrical and control system hardware.
- Review and track engineering deliverables for project status reporting.
- Resolve corrective actions as they arise.
- Develop and maintain electrical and control system operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Requisition Qualifications :

- Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Understanding of electrical drawings.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Proficiency using computers and interfacing them with controls systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
Requisition Preferences :
- BS degree in electrical, electronics or power engineering from an accredited engineering school.
- Familiarity with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and procedures.
- Installation of Sensors and Instrumentation.
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and programming software.
