Laboratory Technician

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analyses on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

You'll also handle special testing requests to support our cutting-edge quality assurance operations.

What Will You Do?

  • Efficient Communication : Relay testing results effectively to Operations Team Members ensuring seamless workflow.
  • Procedure Compliance : Read, understand, and follow all laboratory standard procedures and SOPs.
  • Support and Evaluate : Assist the Chemist in evaluating new equipment and testing methods.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with environmental and quality regulations, including training, disposing of chemicals, and performing safety checks.
  • Maintenance & Calibration : Keep laboratory instruments clean, operational, and in top condition.
  • Safety Programs : Actively participate in safety programs and monthly safety meetings, always looking for improvement opportunities.
  • Quality Culture : Support and promote a strong quality culture within the plant.
  • Emergency Response : Assist the Plant Emergency Brigade by making announcements and contacting outside agencies during emergencies.
  • Overtime : Be prepared to work required overtime when necessary.

Skills and Experience

  • Education : Associate or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Math : Strong algebraic math skills.
  • Computer Proficiency : Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible Schedule : Willingness to work off shifts, including weekends and holidays.
