About The Position
Job Title : Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Specialty : Rehab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days, 8 hours, 32-40 hours scheduled per week Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year of SLP experience required;
LTC or Rehab experience preferred License : Valid Missouri State License required Certifications : CCC certified SLP required Must-Have : - Active OH or compact license at time of submission - Certifications must be through AHA and active at the time of start - Will accept one reference at the time of submission - Full profile requirements including resume, skills checklist within 1 year, and 0-1 reference at time of submission Job Description : - Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, and to decrease aspirations.
- Create communication treatment plans that help individuals to be better understood and to understand others better. - Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents. - Must be knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
