Cloud Engineer

The Network Management Engineer (OpenStack / Cloud) role based in Irving, TX (virtual option)

focuses on managing and supporting Nokia's MantaRay NM (NetAct) systems in OpenStack cloud environments. The candidate must possess expertise in telecom network management systems, OpenStack orchestration, and FCAPS tools, and have hands-on experience in Redhat Linux and Windows environments.

Required Qualifications :

• OpenStack and orchestration experience.
• Expertise in NMS / OSS installation, upgrade, and integration.
• Proficiency in FCAPS tools used in telecom network management.
• Experience with Redhat Linux and Windows .

Job Responsibilities :

• Install and commission MantaRay NM (NetAct) systems in OpenStack cloud across labs and production systems.
• Execute regression testing, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), and support orchestration of deployment workflows.
• Integrate MantaRay NM with various network elements for FCAPS functionality.
• Lead software upgrades, proactively resolve issues, and troubleshoot problems.
• Provide on-site support as needed, participate in internal / customer meetings, and deliver MOPs (Methods of Procedure).
• Ensure systems adhere to client's Information Security policies (ISO27001).

Desired Competencies :

• Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (certification preferred).
• Experience deploying applications on cloud infrastructures (OpenStack or VMWare).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This role requires a candidate who can work within the Central Time Zone, with occasional on-site support if necessary
