About The Position

Job Title : Inpatient Pharmacist – Night Shift (26 Weeks)

Location : Whittier, California

Contract Length : 26 Weeks

Shift : 4x10s (8 : 00 PM – 6 : 30 AM)

Schedule : 7 on / 7 off | Thursday start | Sunday to Sunday work week

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 26-week night shift assignment in Whittier, CA . This role is ideal for pharmacists with acute care experience, strong clinical dosing skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. First-time travelers are welcome to apply!

Shift Details :

Nights : 4x10s (2000–0630)

7 on / 7 off rotation (Start day : Thursday)

Weekend & Holiday Coverage : Required if scheduled days fall on a weekend or holiday

Orientation : Takes place during the day before transitioning to nights

Requirements : Certifications :

PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy)

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Experience :

Minimum 5 years of inpatient / acute care experience

Skills Required :

Clinical Dosing & Monitoring :

Anticoagulants (including Warfarin)

Cardiac, Renal, Geriatric, and Pediatric Dosing

Pharmacokinetics & Therapeutic Drug Monitoring

Medication Management :

High-risk medications

Pain Controlled Analgesia

Psychotherapeutic Medication Management

IV Compounding & Administration :

IV Push Medications

IV Piggybacks

Sterile Technique

Technology & Systems :

Familiarity with Carousel Systems
