Material Handler
Sun Valley, CA
Full time Temp to hire
Monday thru Friday 7am to 3 : 30pm
$19.50hr to start.
Interior building materials and specialty products company, with nearly five decades servicing and supporting customers, is looking for a Material Handler to join their team in Sun Valley.
Summary : Seeking a Material Handler to load and unload materials and equipment with a forklift from trucks in the yard.
Responsibilities :
- Load and unload materials and equipment safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure all necessary material and equipment are loaded in a timely fashion and foreman requests are complete.
- Record materials received back from jobs as trucks are unloaded including the recording of the part number, quantity and job.
Perform order picking and loading / unloading of materials.
- Conduct heavy equipment operation safely and efficiently.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for inventory tracking.
- Adhere to OSHA standards and safety protocols.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Demonstratable previous forklift experience.
- Able to lift 30 lbs.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime.
