Field Service Engineer
Field service of medical lasers. Extensive travel, great benefits, excellent pay, never boring.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITION UNLESS YOU HAVE AN EXCELLENT UNDERSTANDING OF ELECTRONICS, OPTICS AND LASERS.
You will be factory trained on numerous medical and dental laser systems. Nd : YAG, Alexandrite, Ruby, Dye, Erbium, and diodes to name a few.
Extensive knowledge of electronics, optics and lasers is REQUIRED for this position.
This job requires extensive travel (typically 2-4 days per week). You could be driving up to 4 hours from your home / office or flying to another state for service calls.
Occasional international travel is required for service or training, so you will need a passport. You will be home most nights but expect to stay overnight as needed several times each month.
You will be factory trained on each specific laser we service. You will need to be able to make your own travel arrangements- book a flight, car and hotel for the next day (using travel websites like Expedia,
Orbitz, etc...). Completion of Field Service Reports and Expense Reports will be a vital part of your day.
Work Attire - you are expected to look professional, but no need for a suit and tie. Slacks, polo shirt (provided by the company) or a button-down shirt and dress shoes.
COMPENSATION
Salary plus excellent benefits. Driving expenses for your own vehicle - your mileage rate is based on the current government rate (ie.
$0.55 / mile). All of your training and travel expenses will be paid by Photonics Service Group. You will accumulate frequent flyer miles and other frequent travel perks to use on your personal time.
