The Charge Nurse also has managerial responsibilities including, but not limited to, staffing, scheduling, employment development, and budget and performance improvement activities.
Qualifications Job Requirements : Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing Current license as RN in state of Texas American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 12 months of hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 12 months of hire Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months of hire Preferred Job Requirements : 2-3 years experience in hospital setting as staff nurse 2 years in Charge Nurse or Supervisor position preferred.
